Where can I park?
We are conveniently located in front of the Church Street parking garage. For a readily accessible parking app, try PARKER - A new smartphone app which allows you to locate our City of Santa Cruz parking lots and see the rates for each lot. You can also register for Parkmobile. This Pay by Phone parking system can be used for on-street and off-street parking. Instead of looking for the correct change or having to estimate the time you need, you can instantly start and stop your parking transaction using your registered mobile phone.
What should I wear to class?
For all of our classes we recommend comfortable athletic pants and tops/shirts.
*For barre classes, grip socks are required. Sold in-studio.
Are all classes heated?
No. our eco-friendly heaters only operate on certain days of the week to meet energy efficient, green standards. Please refer to our MindBody schedule to view which days are heated to 85 degrees with infrared technology.
What are the benefits of an infrared heated yoga class?
Our radiant heaters are energy efficient, eco-friendly heaters. They are 99-100% recyclable, noiseless, do not blow dust or allergens, and recognized by LEED ratings!
Non-infrared heated studios warm you with forced air which heats the air around you. Infrared heat directly warms the muscles, allowing for a greater range of motion. The gentle heat produced by infrared heaters penetrates stiff tissues, muscles and joints. Studies show infrared heat makes connective tissue more flexible, stimulates blood flow, allows for greater joint movement and increases endorphin levels.
What if I am running late to class? Can I still attend?
Although we highly encourage that you attend the full class to allow your body to warm-up properly, we understand that life can get a little hectic. We allow a 5 minute grace period to enter class, though we highly recommend you arrive at least 15 minutes early to get settled in.
